For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17 NKJV)
Dominion is the birthright of every believer. By redemption, we have been separated and ordained as kings and priest on earth. Therefore anything less than dominion for a child of God is anti-covenant and outside the will of God. The scripture says in Galatians 4:7 “So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir”.
Adam exercised this dominion right before he lost it to devil. He was in charge of everything! Imagine he named the deadliest and the ferocious of creatures. But after falling short, he became fearful and timid, he lost his identity. The source of fear, lack of confidence, timidity is sin. The scripture says “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father” (Romans 8:15).
Therefore, the first step to reigning in life is to have a change of mindset. Settle in your hearts today, that you are born for greatness, exploit and dominion. You are not a victim but a victor. You have received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness to exercise dominion on earth. SHALOM
CONFESSION
Thank You Father for making me royalty and teaching me to live as one. Today I declare that I display the beauty, excellence, wisdom and majesty in Christ Jesus. I display the absolute goodness of God to all men. I am God’s own special child born to show forth the excellency of Christ to the nations of the earth. I am above all and not beneath. I reign in life through righteousness today, and by the power of Your Spirit that is at work in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
