LIVING IN PROSPERITY

LIVING IN PROSPERITY

God’s desire for His children is that they live in the totality of His will and plan for their lives; perfect, and not lacking in anything. The Bible shows us that when God wants to take His people to a land, He takes them to a place of abundance, where He knows they won’t lack anything. The spiritual mandate for believers is that; we have all sufficiency in all things so that we may abound to every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). This means that lack is not permitted, in that Christ became poor that we may be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).

To activate the promise, we are called to fear the Lord and keep His commandments. Deuteronomy 8:6-7 says: “Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.7– For the Lord, thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills”.  We are also mandated to command the abundance we have in the Spirit into reality, by exercising our faith. God has given us authority to call forth blessings from the heavenly realms into reality (Matthew 16:19). The Psalmist understood this truth and confessed the Lord as his shepherd, therefore lacking nothing. (Psalm  23:1).

God is always willing to provide for us because we are financiers of the work of the Kingdom.  As we obey God’s Word and continually exercise our faith and authority as believers, may we forever remain blessed SHALOM!

CONFESSION
I have the fear of God in me, and I sincerely carry out His commands. Today, I declare that I have all sufficiency in all things, therefore, I do not know lack, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
