MAKE YOURSELF VALUABLE

Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! [Luke 12:24]

To be valuable simply put is to be worth a great deal. A valuable person is one that is very useful and helpful. As a child of God, you carry in you the divinity of Christ, a life that was bought with the greatest price, which is the blood of Jesus.
The life of value is a life of worth and impact. If your existence makes no difference in any life, it is possible you are living a valueless life. The Scripture makes it clear that one of the ways to live a valuable life is to impact and add value to the lives of others (2 Timothy 4:7-8). Living to enhance the value and worth of others is living a life that matters. You cannot really live well until you live beyond yourself.

Your value system matters in determining the destiny of your life. It is not the clothes you wear that matter; it is the values you bear. Living a valuable life is a matter of choice, and when you choose it, you have to consciously walk in that path. It takes self-discipline to be accomplished in life, thus becoming valuable. It is very important to define your life by taking responsibility for it. Don’t live a lesser life. Live God’s dream. He considered you valuable and gave Himself for you (1 Peter 1:18-19).

Furthermore, you will attract wealth and good things to yourself to the degree of the value you have built inside you. We are living magnets. We attract success or failure, wealth or poverty depending on what we have built inside us and what we choose to project. You are too valuable to barter away the finest part of your life. Make yourself so valuable, set your mark and your standard high. Allow no day to go by in which you have not improved yourself. Take an inventory again and again and see what you possess; see whether that possession is more valuable today than it was a year ago. Find where your ability lies, then put all of your best into that ability and make that ability come across and put you over.

Today, add value to yourself, in your field, in your career, in your environment, choose to be valuable. Increase your skills, and develop yourself. Shalom
