Seeing with the eyes of faith is dreaming in line with God’s Word. Having the eyes of faith is seeing the reality of the written Word of God (2Corinthians 4:13). Meditating on God’s Word causes us to see situations as they are according to the scriptures, and not just the way they appear to be in the physical. It’s important to note that faith produces conviction about things in the realm of the spirit which are invisible to the natural eyes. In the Bible, we see how Abraham saw with the eyes of faith, in that when he saw the stars, his imagination was that of his descendents and not just the physical stars. Living a successful life requires us pursuing our vision with a faith-filled mindset which can never be intimidated. 2 Corinthians 4:18 admonishes: “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”. The eyes of faith is one that sees prosperity instead of lack, it’s one that sees divine health instead of sickness, progress instead set-back. It’s no wonder the Bible says: “let the weak say I am strong” (Joel 3:10). Fix your gaze on the infallible Word of God today, and see with the eyes of faith.
