THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE IN CHRIST

THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE IN CHRIST

God created man to enjoy and take care of the fullness of His creation. However, sin came and took away man’s glory. As believers, we have been called to enjoy the full extent of God’s creation (the earth) and the richness and beauty in it. The only ticket required is salvation in Christ. Romans 8:32 says: “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” The moment we gave our lives to Christ, we have been called to a beautiful life both on earth and in heaven.

Many believers focus on the struggles of the Christian life and account for its pleasures to eternity. However, when we accept Christ into our lives, He beautifies them. The Holy Spirit fills us with love, joy peace and other virtues. As Christian, we never have to worry if we put our trust and dependency on God. The Bible tells us that if He takes care of the lilies and birds, how much more will He clothe you (Mathew 6:28). A life in Christ is one surrounded by God’s love. We get the privilege of fellowshipping with the creator of the universe and having a romantic relationship with His son. Isn’t that amazing?

We have been created in His beauty and image, and marvellously and wonderfully made, however, when we let Christ into our lives, He beautifies us on the inside too. In Christ, we also have life in abundance (John 10:10). Everything in this world, we have dominion over through Christ. In His arms, we are safe from evil, poverty and lack. We are carriers of the fullness and presence of God, therefore, everywhere we go and everything we touch is blessed. Our God is amazing and all-powerful and most importantly He loves us, so every day, we need to cast away our worries and trust in God, revelling in the beauty of His creation and majesty, and in the warmth of His love. SHALOM!
