THE WAY OF ROYALS: FAMILY

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, (Ephesians 2:19, ESV)

The family is a masterpiece of God’s creation. Our relationship with God determines our identity. When we give our lives to Christ, we become adopted into God’s family. We are no longer bound by division, such as that of race, social class, or gender, for we’re all one in Christ Jesus.

God’s unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. (Eph. 1:5 NLT). When you gave your life to Jesus, you were adopted into the family of God, with Christ as your head. You became a partaker of God’s inheritance in Christ Jesus, saddled with royal privileges and responsibilities. These privileges and responsibilities are what makes you stand as a member of God’s family.

For royal families here on earth, there is royal etiquette, the dos and don’ts regarding their behaviours, dressing, manners, etc. It is the same for the Kingdom of God and even much more. There is a way we are to do things as Kingdom royals to bring glory to our King. We belong to the family of God, and as such we ought to act according to God’s expectations. For this, He gave us the Church, to serve as an avenue for our growth and development and for the fulfilment of His purpose. We are members of the Church, thus members of God’s family.

Brethren, there is no lasting satisfaction but the honour that comes from God. To be heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, is to be entitled to unsearchable riches and treasures. To be a part of God’s family is to be a part of the greatest family that lives in eternity. Live with this consciousness every day and effective positive changes every where you go. SHALOM.

CONFESSION
I am a part of the Royal Family of God! I am born of God. I am a king here on earth and I rule and reign over every circumstance of life. I dispense my God given responsibility here on earth with great honour and virtue every where I go. As I identify myself with God’s family everyday, so does everything around me Identify with Christ, Hallelujah!
