WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR
GOD LATELY ?
Dear Friends, What have you done for God lately? It's a question that challenges us to reflect on our relationship with Him. We often focus on what we want Him to do for us while neglecting our own responsibilities as His children. Do we have a habit of thanksgiving? Do we commit our time and resources to serve Him? It’s easy to desire the blessings and benefits of being called a child of God, but what kind of child would we be if we refuse to be of use to our Father? Consider this: we have all been called into His ministry. Each of us has a role to play in sharing the Good News and leading others to Christ. It’s not just the duty of pastors or church leaders; it’s a calling for every believer. In Romans 12:1, Paul urges us, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship." Our true worship is in our daily lives, in how we serve, love, and obey Him. Reflect on how you can be more engaged in God's work. Start with small steps: spend more time in prayer and Bible study, volunteer in your church or community, and share your faith with those around you. Let’s cultivate a heart of gratitude and service. Remember, Jesus said, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few" (Matthew 9:37). Will you be one of the workers in His vineyard? Will you answer the call to make a difference for His kingdom? Let’s not just be identified as His children by name but by our actions and dedication to His service. Together, let’s build a community that glorifies God in all we do.
