GREATER IS HE IN ME
One of the qualities of a true believer is having the mind of Christ—knowing that fear is not an attribute of God. A fearful person will always find it hard to remember God’s presence and confront situations that seem impossible to handle. Every believer must receive the gift of boldness and faith! 2 Timothy 1:7 says: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”. A believer must be aware of the power they have in Christ.
A believer needs to have the Word of God in their heart and on their lips, so that when storms arise, they can be confident and fearless. The Bible says in Hebrews 4:12: “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”.
The knowledge of the Word of God enables the believer to always remember God’s heart and intention concerning various issues, which gives the believer rest in troubling situations. It is important therefore, to build your faith on God’s Word. 1John 4:4 says: “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world”. Step out today proclaiming and manifesting the victory which is truly yours in Christ Jesus. SHALOM!
CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank You because I have the mind of Christ; therefore, I will not be afraid or timid. I walk in boldness and faith because I am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood. I have been called out of darkness into the marvelous light of God, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
