HIS LOVE IS ETERNAL
One beautiful things about the God's love is that it never fails, never ends, and is unconditional. The human love may end or fail, but Gods love stands sure. It was by this great love, that He gave His only Son to die for us while we were yet sinners, that we might be redeemed. John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life". He says in His Word, "I have loved you with an everlasting love, and drawn you with loving kindness" (Jeremiah 3:13).
Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price for our sins on the cross as a demonstration of God's everlasting love for humanity. Jesus Christ is God's love towards us personified. In Him we enjoy the benefits of the fullness of God's love. The love of God is unconditional and unmerited (Romans 5:8). There is nothing on earth that can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39).
To enjoy and experience the love of God, we must first abide in Him, and He in us.
God's love is genuine; we cannot find such a love that can last forever. He loves us recklessly and without measure. He can bring down nations for our sake because of His love for us. God is our heavenly Father, and just like our earthly parents, He is ready to go to great lengths to meet the needs of His children; all we have to do is ask Him (Matthew 7:7). This is the privilege we enjoy as believers. Celebrate His love today and share that love in extension to everyone around you. SHALOM!
CONFESSION
Father I rest in Your love for it is eternal. Thank You for the gift of Your son Jesus Christ, who has brought me into redemption. I acknowledge that Your love is genuine, because I know that without it, I wouldn't have made it to where I am today. Thank You for Your unfailing and overwhelming love. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
