LIVING IN FAITH

Faith is believing in what you cannot see. It is believing that what God says is true and will surely come to pass. Hebrews 11:1 says: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” It is very rare to see people living wholly by faith, because it is not easy to live by just believing; most people feel the need to constantly be 'realistic' or 'logical'. Faith is not based on our logic. It takes process — believing in Christ Jesus and completely obeying His Word, whether it makes sense to us or not.

It is imperative as Believers for us to have faith, because to a believer, faith is the currency needed to access any length in the realm of the spirit, and manifest them physically. Many Christians struggle to live by faith. When a Christian is not grounded in the Word of God, the devil will not just have access to him/her, but will also toil with their faith. The devil knows that your faith in God gives you authority and dominion over him forever and that is why he attacks it.

As Believers, we build our faith on the Word of God because the Word of God is life. Romans 10:17 says: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” In order to live by faith, we must study God's Word (Romans 10:17), obey it, and also confess it. This is the life of the believer who lives by faith. SHALOM!

CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank You because I live by faith and not by sight. My faith is growing to withstand every storm as I overcome challenges daily. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
