JESUS CAME TO SAVE
Sin has been a major struggle in the life of man from the beginning of time. After Adam, every man was born in sin. But God, by His mercy, has made it possible for those who believe in Him to be saved. John 1:12 says: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” He sacrificed His son Jesus and as a result whoever believes in Him can be saved (John 3:16).
Jesus came to save the world from sin. He died so that we do not have to pay for our sins or live with guilt. God’s grace was made sufficient by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and we were reconciled to Him. The scripture says in John 3:17: “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” Jesus came to save us from the claws of death—for the wages of sin is death.
You accept God’s salvation by simply confessing your sins and receiving Jesus as Lord over your life. 1 John 1:9 says: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” God is able to save you and set you free from the bondage of sin that you may be called a son of God (Luke 19:10). If you are unsaved, accept Jesus into your life today that you may yet experience a new and beautiful beginning with Him who makes all things beautiful.
CONFESSION
Dear Father, I believe Jesus came to die for me, therefore I am saved by grace. I declare that sin has no power over my life now and forever! I am saved in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
