HE'S ABLE

As believers, we serve a God who created the universe. Our Father holds complete dominion over the universe, therefore everything within it is in His control. Ephesians 3:20 says: "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
When a Father gives his child his words, it means that he is able to deliver. This scripture is God guaranteeing His children that there's nothing that they can imagine that He wouldn't be able to do if they asked of Him.

There is nothing of which we ask God that He is not capable, and yet our imaginations cannot conceive of the extent of his power and ability (1 Corinthians 2:9). Our prayers are small compared to his power. God could move a mountain if He wanted to, but only if it served His purposes to do so. Often, God appears impotent to the sinfully impatient or spiritually blind, because the temporal problems in their lives are not solved easily and their desires are not met. However, James 4:2-3 says; "You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures."

God is able to perform beyond our imaginations, as long as we ask in accordance to His will. When we pray on the foundation of His promises in His Word, He hears our prayers and meets our expectations. When we face difficult situations, we must remember that God is able, regardless of how impossible it seems. Believe that He will do what He says He will do and keep laboring in intercession. Our heavenly Father is a God of process; It may tarry, but wait for it, because it shall surely come to pass. SHALOM!

CONFESSION

I declare that my mind is made up, and my heart is receptive to receive that which God has in store for me. I am not moved by what I see or hear, but I cling unto Jesus—the author and the finisher of my faith—and His promises to me in His Word. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
