GOD’S WORD NEVER FAILS
God is a covenant keeping God. His promises are sure and cannot fail, as failure is not part of God’s characteristics (Isaiah 55:11). From Genesis to Revelation, we can find God’s consistent character of faithfulness and how each and every of His promises were fulfilled or are unfolding. Joshua 21:45 says: “Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled”. God is bound by His Word because He has exalted His Word above His Name (Psalm 138:2).
Whatever God says, we can be rest assured that no matter the circumstances surrounding us at the moment, it must be fulfilled. This confidence comes from knowing that God’s Word never fails. 2 Corinthians 1:20 says: “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us”. The Bible is filled with many good promises for us as believers, and it is our responsibility to search out these good promises, believe them wholeheartedly and confess them with our mouths to see their manifestation. We must also take heed to obey the instructions that come along with these promises, as there are no shortcuts to the blessing in the Kingdom of God.
The promises and Word of God cannot be separated from Him. Therefore, for you to enjoy them, you must first be aligned with God, by surrendering your life to Christ and aligning yourself to His will, because every of God’s promises are only fulfilled “in Him”. As we declare the promises of God over our lives in faith, every situation in our life shall be turned for good. SHALOM!
CONFESSION
Thank you Father for the bountiful promises of your word towards me. As I confess these promises in faith over my life today, and take heed to obey Your instructions, my life is being glorified, in Jesus Name. Amen.
