A LIFE OF PURPOSE
God has a grand plan for every one of His children, and as a result, we were all created to fulfill purpose. Jeremiah 1:5 says: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Meaning, to every man and to every season, there is a God ordained purpose.
It is important to know that just as we were created to fulfill God's purpose, God also created seasons to fulfill His purpose. Therefore, while we learn to fulfil our purpose, we also ought to recognize each season we find ourselves and discover the purpose for the season, that we may also walk in it. The Bible says in Roman 8:19: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” As believers, we are God's ambassadors, sent here on earth to fulfill the will of the Father (2 Corinthians 5: 20, 1 Peter 2:9). We owe the world the responsibility of taking the glorious life of Christ to them.
In order to fulfill our purpose, we must search the scriptures to know the desires of God. We must begin with asking God to reveal to us His perfect plan for our lives. We must also develop our strengths and our talents, as they are gifted by God to facilitate our purpose. As God gradually reveals the blueprints of our lives to us and the purpose of our current season, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we see ourselves walking in the fulfilment of God's plan for our lives, in Jesus' Name. CONFESSION
God has a plan for me, therefore I cannot be ordinary. From today, I walk in the fulfilment of my purpose in every aspect of my life. I affirm that my life is aligned to the will of God. I receive the grace to live an honourable life that will bring glory to God, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
