AS YOU WAIT
Have you ever felt like giving up after waiting on God for a particular thing for so long? Oh yes! It sure happens to the believer. This is why the Scripture says in Ecclesiastes 9:11: “I returned and saw under the sun that— The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.” This means that, timing and God’s mercy are vital in our walk with God.
During the process of waiting, the race may not be smooth, but because you are waiting for something bigger and better, you must be patient. The scripture makes us to understand in James 1:2-4, that waiting patiently brings perfect results: “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” You must be patient in order to obtain the miracles you desire from God.
As you wait on God, expect to be transformed in all aspects of your life. Do not be in a hurry to leave or let go: let His presence minister life into your spirit. Patiently waiting on God will leave a mark that will cause men to see the glory of God in your life. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” (Romans 8:18-19). SHALOM!
CONFESSION
