WHAT CAN I GIVE GOD
As Believers, we can often recognize that the world is the Lord's and everything therein. So, it may feel like we cannot give God anything of value. However, there are so many thigs we can give to God, one of which is our bodies. Romans 12:1 says: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."
One of the the things you can give to God is your body; serving God with the whole of your being, with holiness and trembling.
Giving our bodies to God is a great responsibility we owe to ourselves and to God, especially in present times where sexual immorality is at its very peak. Maintaining chastity helps us to stay in fellowship with the Holy Spirit; our bodies can be an abode for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. 1Corinthians 6:19 says: "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" When we give God our bodies, He comes and dwells in us, leading us and doing great things through us. We must remember that our bodies are our first offering to God. SHALOM!
